A dip for ice cream cones. The base flavor is mixed with coconut oil or melted butter so that when it comes into contact with ice cream, it freezes or hardens instantly, forming a crunchy candy-like coating around the ice cream. Often it’s made with chocolate, but also comes in strawberry and other flavors. Magic Shell is the brand name used by Smucker’s.
