How To Make A Fidget Spinner Out Of CAKE | It Actually SPINS!



To make my Fidget Spinner Cake, I used my Ultimate Chocolate cake, Electric Pink Italian Meringue Buttercream and Teal fondant to create the base. But it didn’t stop there! Let’s be honest, this is a How To Cake It fidget spinner, and we literally can’t make anything here that’s not related to cake in some way. That’s why, this fidget spinner is also decorated with three mini pastries at the end of each prong and branded with the letters HTCI in the center.

How To Make A Sweet & Tangy Lemon Meringue Pie Mega Cake



To make this Lemon Meringue Mega Cake, I filled three marbled Vanilla cakes with lemon buttercream, chopped lemon meringue pie cookies & yummy lemon curd. I even topped it with a whole Lemon Meringue Pie and decorated the cake with white chocolate ganache drizzle and sweet lemon candies!

HIGHWAY UNICORN CAKE - The Scran Line



HIGHWAY UNICORN CAKE

Serves 20
Recipe can be halved for a 6” cake tin

Cake
645g all-purpose flour
400g caster (superfine) sugar
1 tsp salt
4 ½ tsp baking powder
560ml of milk
180ml vegetable oil
190g unsalted butter, softened
3 tbsp Greek yogurt (can substitute with sour cream)
1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
3 large eggs
3 drops blue food gel
3 drops pink food gel + 3 drops purple food gel
3 drops pink food gel
3 tsp strawberry essence (or any flavour you like)
purple pony sprinkles (www.fancysprinkles.com)
rainbow confetti sprinkles

Gold Drip
2 tsp gold lustre dust (can be purchased online or at any cake supply store)
4 tbsp vodka or vanilla extract

Frosting
3 batches of Swiss meringue buttercream
3 drops blue food gel
3 drops pink food gel + 3 drops purple food gel
3 drops pink food gel
3 tsp strawberry essence

Optional
½ batch highway unicorn macarons

How To Make A GIANT STRAWBERRY Out Of Pink Vanilla CAKE & Fondant



To make this GIANT Strawberry Cake, I baked a whopping 16 lbs of pink-dyed Ultimate Vanilla Cake, filled it all with Strawberry Buttercream, covered it in red fondant and decorated it with red food colouring, gumpaste ‘strawberry seeds’ and a full, leafy “crown”. I even attached a stem at the end to make it look like it’s freshly picked!

How To Make A Rocky Road Ice Cream Sandwich Out Of Cake



To make this Rocky Road Ice Cream Sandwich Cake, I combined marshmallows, walnuts and chocolate chips into my Ultimate Chocolate Cake batter, iced it with Italian Meringue Buttercream and sandwiched the cake between two GIANT Chocolate Sugar Cookies. I even decorated the whole thing with Rocky Road-inspired toppings and some colorful SPRINKLES to add a bit of extra magic.
